As the two-time recipient of the Consumer Choice Award for Registered Dietitian and Weight Loss Management in Vancouver (2021 and 2022) and the #1 Best Registered Dietitian in Vancouver (thebestofvancouver.com), I strive to go above and beyond for my clients. I have a M.Sc. in Nutrition and almost a decade’s worth of industry experience in nutrition, weight management, and mindset coaching experience under my belt.

For almost all of my adolescent and young adult life, I constantly struggled with weight management and emotional eating. On top of being overweight, spending my formative years being known as the “fat friend” in girl groups and constantly being scrutinized about my thickness – which was lethally unattractive by Chinese beauty standards – by my East Asian relatives at every family gathering truly dwindled my self-esteem. The only way I knew how to feel better was to indulge in my favourite foods whenever I felt bad about myself.

It took me a Bachelor (B.Sc.) of Food and Nutritional Sciences degree, along with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Human Nutrition with Registered Dietitian Credentialing, along with loads of mindset work, to get to where I am today – a happy, healthy, and confident version of myself that my younger self would have killed to be.

Fast forward to today, I coach working professionals in Vancouver with my easy-to-follow 3S system.

My goal is for my clients to lose weight for GOOD and help them build a healthy relationship with food. No more sneaking into the kitchen at night because you can’t sleep. No more impulsive “cake therapy” after a stressful day at work. And no more self-loathing when it comes to staring at the number on the scale.

Nice to meet you, I'm Kelly! As a foodie born and raised in the thriving culinary hub of Vancouver, Canada, and over 10 years of experience in the food industry, you can count on me to make terrific food recommendations catered to your personal style.

One of the greatest fears that new clients have at the start of their journey is their FOMO for their old diets. Little do they know, nutritional eating can be as tasty as it is effective!

I have a longstanding working relationship with Pur Weight Loss founder Adrienne and have helped hundreds of clients with their weight loss journeys over the last decade. I’ll be helping you create an ultra-personalized meal plan that is tailored to your specific taste preferences, food choices, and grocery shopping habits so that your meals feel so natural and perfect, it’s like you didn’t change your diet at all!

Growing up Chinese-Canadian, I have a deep-rooted passion for exploring foods and taste palettes of the world! I truly believe that one can learn so much about a culture simply from the way they interact with food. My hope is that we’ll be able to create new, meaningful moments with our renewed way of intentional eating together!

Hi, I’m Mamta! As a Registered Dietitian (RD) with over 15 years of experience in Nutrition and Dietetics, I’ve had the privilege of counseling hundreds of clients with diverse nutritional needs. From reaching weight loss goals to managing chronic health conditions and creating healthy eating habits, I am a well-rounded nutritionist here to help you reach your own health goals!

Something that I understand very well is that every life stage has different nutritional needs. A child would have a very different optimal diet than their parents. I’m a mom myself, so not only do I understand it, I also experience it on a daily basis. Being actively aware of this, I help clients lose weight successfully by helping them make feasible and healthy changes to their diets and lifestyles.

Before joining Pur Weight Loss, I previously worked in long term care and primary health care settings in Toronto. I also conducted regular health and nutrition sessions for various age groups to educate families and community members how they could eat healthy affordably. I have a postgraduate degree in Nutrition from Delhi University, one of the highest-ranked schools in India, and worked as a dietitian specializing in weight management and helped many clients reach their ideal weight before I immigrated to Canada.

During my time within the public health sector, I conducted nutritional assessments and identified nutritional risks. Similar to the business plans that you may be familiar with, I made holistic analyses, recommendations, and implementation plans that were successfully adopted by my patients. The result? A happier and healthier community full of patients who are not only eating better, but feeling better as well.

As a busy mom of two young kids, I can completely relate to the busy lives of my clients. It’s always easy to take the quick and dirty route and neglect your body when your work plate is full. I’m here to help show you that food can be healthy AND convenient – even on your busiest days. I love creating healthy, Indian dishes for my family and I'm glad I can share those recipes with Pur Weight loss clients (recipes coming!)

With my established career in Nutrition, along with my practical experience and approach, I can help you meet your health and nutrition goals based on your personal needs and preferences.
